Welcome to Morganville, Texas a small college town that is ran by the supernatural beings that live in the town. In Morganville there is only three rules that must be followed. 1: Never go out after dark, 2: Pay your taxes (by bloodmobile) and 3: Whatever you do, DON'T piss off the supernatural beings in town. Each individual species has their own system for how they handle problems and each have their own governing body. Howerever the highest ranking members of each species form a council that deals with any problems that arise that will affect every species and the town as a whole. All the humans in the town with the exception of the college students are required to pay a "blood tax" where they have to donate a certain ammount of blood each year in order to sustain the vamps that live in the town. There has also been wide spread reports among the humans that the second you step outside the borders of the town all memories of the supernatural beings are blocked. There isn't any solid proof that this happens and non of the supernaturals will confirm or deny that it happens but that doesn't stop the speculation.
